    OK, sorry, but those are gonna be all the same AFA sound goes, the only difference is styling and price.

    I like AL and Logitech - but reviews point to the Philips.

    I'd still go with one of the two above, not Philips.

    It's your call.

    BTW: Why drag this into VH? It's only $40 speakers.

  4. I think you'll have to audition them for yourself. In that price range they will all have terrible flaws (big peaks or dips in frequency response, phase distortion, intermodulation distortion, etc.). It's a matter of which flaws you find least objectionable.

    I agree with budwzr -- M-Audio is about the best sounding computer speakers for the buck. But they start around US$100.
