  1. I have 2 separate DV-AVI files that I've captured from sides A and B from a laserdisc. I've already trimmed them in virtualdub and output them using direct stream copy, so I just want to join them together to make 1 AVI file that I can load into CCE for encoding. What would you guys recommend to losslessly join these together?

  2. join them in vdub (file=> append) or avs script (since you will be encoding to mpeg2 with CCE anyway)

  3. Thanks, I didn't know I could do that in vdub. That was too easy.

Are you also aware you can frameserve the edited video to CCE directly from VD and not have to create an intermediate file? Saves a lot of hard drive space. I don't know if that works with all versions of CCE, but there are workarounds if needed.
