I am new to this forum, so please excuse me if I repeat myself from other posts or if this issue has been gone over in the past. I recently spent almost a month in Warsaw attending the Chopin Piano Competition. I recorded almost 65 hours of telecasts on the Hard Drive of a mutually owned LG 487 purchased in Poland and left there with the other owner. Is there a way to clone the hard drive from the machine, so that I can access the recordings in full fidelity in the US on another machine of a similar nature? The cloning could be done in Poland, and a hard drive sent to me to be installed in a US machine. Are there regional problems in doing this? The DVD's burned from the hard drive before I left play well on certain cheap DVD players that apparently do not have regional issues. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

There won't be any regional(region code) issues....but there WILL be a PAL/NTSC video format issue...that's IF the drive can be copied.
