Hi,
I've been trying to demux a couple of FLV files, to improve sound and remux it to a file which DVDLabPro will open. I'm trying to avoid re-encoding because of quality loss.
I've tried FLV Extract, but it won't open the files, it gives me an error:
"This is a MP4 file. YAMB or MP4Box can be used to extract streams." YAMB can't open the file neither.
This is what GSpot tells me:
Does someone know how I can demux these files?

you can try renaming extension to .mp4 before using yamb
but it's pointless, because dvdlab won't accept avc video or aac audio - you have to re-encode with mpeg2 (and resize it to make it standard definition) for dvd anyways . aac audio has to be resampled to 48KHz, and either converted to AC3 or MP2
I'm assuming you're trying to make a regular dvd because of dvdlab pro ? -
For MPEG2 encoding I would give the edge to CCE . For freeware MPEG2 encoder, HCEnc is good but only accepts avs scripts. If you don't know how to use avs scripts, you can try avs2dvd which has option to use HCEnc, and will do everything including author . For AC3 encoding, aften or any of it's derivatives
