pink blurs while converting?

i got mothman prophecies and the queen of the damned i cant convert either one of the using TMPGEnc every time i try i get these pinks blurs the mpg for of the movie

does anyone here have the same prob or know how to fix it so i can convert these sweet movies

also what is hufyuv (cant remember exact spelling) codec for and is it better that divx

1.) The pink blur problem could be caused by having the "Angel Potion" codec installed on your system. If you do have this installed, get rid of it!! That will probably solve that problem.

2.) Hufyuv is a video application of Huffman Lossless Compression that is good to use when you are doing uncompressed AVI captures as it is not as big as uncompressed RGB and losses no quality, though the compression ratio is never better than 2:1. It's not a movie format as it takes up a whole hard disc to store an hour or two of video!! DivX on the other hand is a highly-compressed mpeg-4 codec, used for transmitting video over the internet, and is not used for capturing, since you usually want to capture w/o lossy compression.

thanks i did have angelpotion on my comp but i got rid of it about a month ago then i got the mp43 codec from windows so i could view the movies but i read another post here and found that i might need the smr patch so im getting it now hope it works and pink floyd is the all time best band ever
