    Hi everyone.

    I'm pretty desperate here. The thing is: For the last month, I’ve been working on a DVD with all the music clips from a band, including subtitle stream with their lyric and translation. I authored the DVD on DVDLabPro, made the menus and all. I tested the menus inside DVDLabPro and all the buttons were working fine, highlightable and all. Then I compiled the DVD, tested it opening VIDEO_TS.ifo in Media Player Classic and Windows Media Player too. Everything working fine. Then I burned the DVD, verified the data after the burning, and since everything went alright, I deleted all the source working files (m2v, ac3, srt, dal).

    But here’s the disaster. When I insert the DVD on a table player, there are 2 menu buttons which just doesn’t highlight. Pressing all the directional buttons, I just can’t get these to get highlighted. And those buttons are primordial to the DVD, which are the “Select PV” on the main menu (which leads to the clip selecting menu) and the “NEXT” button on the 2nd clip menu, which leads to the 3rd clip menu.

    The weird thing is, if I insert the DVD on the PC, I can highlight those 2 buttons with the mouse normally, and clicking them works just fine. I need to know if there is some way to make these two highlightable in table players without having to start everything from scratch. I wouldn’t bear to throw a month of work away. I know it was VERY dumb to delete the sources before testing it on a table player, but now there’s no return. (I even tried to rescan the HD for deleted files, but they were already overwritten).

    I’m attaching two printscreens of the two problematic buttons, showing that they can get highlighted with the mouse.

    Please, help me. Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried it in a second standalone player?

    I'm wondering if pgcedit may help?

    Never assume the features are correct where mouse is involved ... best to use the arrow keys instead.

    You might find some value from this guide and using pgcedit to reset the dvd commands to correct function.

    Thanks a lot! Using PgcEdit I could set properly the navigation and make those buttons choiceable.

    Really, thank you :}
    You saved me a lot of work!
