I was asked to make back-up music CD for a pre-school.
So, it doesn't matter that the Cd are scratched if mis-handled.
I did a few thru I-tune play list,
These Cds worked with any CD players.
I then used nero express's "copy entire CD".
These CDs only work with some player.
How can I checked burned Music CD is compliance to all CD players ?
or
is there a music CD copy software will create 100% playback compliance CD ?

There are still a lot of players that don't like burned discs, and a lot of cheap shitty discs being used. Like DVD burning, quality blanks should be used, not the local no-name branded crap. Even relatively good quality players in theatres don't do CDs too well. We know put everything as MP3s on USB sticks and run shows from those instead. I know of one dance competition that still insists on audio tape only from contestants because of the continual playback issues with CDs.

It's not just the software -- audio CDs have been around for decades, there are no secrets about the format.
Some CD players don't read any burned discs at all.
Nothing you can do about those.
Otherwise, it can depend on the brand and quality of the blank CD. Try a few different name brands and see.
There are now a few "scratchproof" CDs; cost a bit more but may last longer with kids.
Also don't burn at the maximum possible speed. Step down a couple of notches from the maximum in the burner app.Last edited by AlanHK; 21st Sep 2010 at 07:58.

Thanks Noahtuck, I will check it out when I get home from work. To be honest, I can't remember the last time I burned a CD, everything is DVD now. Cheers!!

SingSing - "Copy entire CD" should work unless the CD has some kind of copy protection software on it. Usually they say on the packaging if they have it. You can try Exact Audio Copy to rip the CD to your hard drive. You can also burn your rips with it. The really paranoid audiophile people use it when they copy CDs to be sure they are getting an exact copy.
I'm not a Nero fan, but it is fine for burning audio CDs. In fact, burning audio CDs is about the only thing I use Nero for anymore. I've never burned an audio CD with Nero that had any problems being played. -
Thank you for sharing the truth, I noticed the professional Teac player in the sound room, will not read some store bought CDs!!
Good reminder. I am using Sony music CDR. It is still a CDR, no matter what Sony say.
So, if the player does not read CDR, then it does not matter compatible the CDR is !
