Hi there,
I am working on the project that eventually will be burned to a blue ray disc. I captured the video from the HDV camera. The project in Adobe premiere cs5 is HDV 1440×1080i 29.97 fps. The files were captured as MPEG. I will later use the Encore cs5 to create the BR disc. What do I need to use for encoding mpeg-blue ray or h.264-blue ray? Preferably I would like to export the files without any compression.
Thanks

If you use the matching HDV preset for import and export, and do "cuts only" type editing, transitions, it will only re-render those frames around the GOP cut site , everything else will be passed through untouched.
But if you use any global filters, like color correction, levels , noise reduction, sharpening , etc... it will re-render everything -
Yes, I did some color correction. So what is the best preset I can use?

I would give the edge to h264 blu-ray. Some people prefer using other encoders (e.g. x264). Try testing some samples and see what you like better
