recording to DVD (tried various formats and brands) to Panasonic DMR-EZ28 ... mostly it works great, except when I try to record from our local FOX HD channel (Channel 25 in Boston) - then the audio is intermittently distorted (clipping or out of phase or some combination) ... but it only seems to happen on this one channel. Any ideas or suggestions for debugging ?

    Thanks

Are you tuning from on-air antenna or cable? Analog NTSC, ATSC or QAM? How is the signal strength?

I think it is a cable company problem. To confirm check the on air signal (should be good) and see if a cable box gets the same distorted result (should be the same as your QAM tuner).
