I used videodub to delete a couple of seconds of an avi video and then saved the resultant file. The original file is 21 MB and the shortened avi is 1.2GB. Can someone tell me why that's happening and how to get a resultant file no larger than the original??

Did you have both the video and audio set to "direct stream copy" ?

Thank you. The audio was set but not the video. That solved the problem.
