Also I'd recommend using media player classic home cinema or vlc for playing video files versus the divx player - just personal preference (both are free as are the three conversion programs I mentioned above).

@noahtuck - well I did offer suggestions for both CONVERSIONS as well as PLAYING software. Never hurts to be thorough
