Ok, for some reason, my VCDs seem to be running at almost 15fps. My source files are 29.97fps and I encode them at 29.97fps. But when I play them back on VCD in a DVD player or even the MPEG 1 file on the computer, it's choppy(both normal scenes and panning scenes). When I step through the playback slowly, I noticed that about every 2 frames, it repeats a frame. The repeated frames are the same images as the frames before them, but you can notice that the compression is a little different.
Since, I really haven't seen any other VCDs, I don't know if this is normal or not. Has anyone had this problem before??
