Hello all -

None of the hacks for the LG DVX492H seem to be working. Anyone have any idea? Thank you so much!!!

Welcome to the forums. You can always ask this question. In rare occurrences someone will post back a hack that works. But most of the time if you have to ask this question, there is no solution for you. Note that sometimes someone will post a working hack many months after the original post, so you might check back from time to see if you are one of the lucky ones. I've seen them get posted as late as 2 years after the original post, but 6 months or less is more common.

Hacks can fail to work for a variety of reasons.
1) Manufacturers can change hardware during production and this can break a hack that worked in the past.
2) The hack may only work under certain versions of firmware and you may have a later firmware.
3) The hack does work, but only for players sold in a different part of the world such as Australia. The hack doesn't work at all on players sold where you live.
