  1. Hi, when i watch a dvd movie using power dvd 10 the audio information shows: Dolby Digital 5.1, 348 kbps, after converting this same dvd movie to Divix plus H264 with AC3 Audio using staxrip & play this same converted movie using power dvd 10 the info shows Dolby digital 5.1, 448 kbps. if the audio birate is 448 kbps, does it mean audio quality is superior? plz suggest

    Thanks

  2. It's worse, because it looks like you re-encoded it using a lossy format (AC3) . It would have been better to copy the audio

  3. how to re encode it without lossy ac3 format..? any idea settings in staxrip..?

  4. I don't use staxrip, so not sure if it has a "copy audio" function

If it doesn't , you could demux from the original source, then mux it into your encode . This way you get identical quality and smaller filesize than if you re-encoded it with a higher bitrate
