I am looking to buy something unnecessary and get a touch screen remote. I want to replace my denon avr, samsung tv remote and i want to do it in style. Is there a touch screen remote that gives me some functions in windows? even if its in WMC only? Kind of eye balling Logitech® Harmony® 1100 but im not sure if it can hook up to a computer i guess would need some type of rf adapter on my computer. are rf adapters specific to certain devices only?

any ideas or input is appreciated. thanks!

For programming it connects to your computer via USB. Or are you saying you want to control your computer with the remote?

@jagabo ya i want to control my computer with the remote. I can accept the fact that it not being a keyboard & mouse that i wont have full function.

@teods1984 ya looking for something to control my HTPC i already have the diNovo Mini by logitech and its great. But i want something to replace my other remotes and i want to do it up a little with a touch screen. So im assuming IF the Harmony controls anything on the computer its going to control Windows Media Center and if thats all it does im ok with that. I just want to know if it does before I purchase anything or if you know of any other touch screen remote

Yes, you need an RF receiver on the computer. I'm not sure if the receivers for different WMC remotes are the same.
