I have an annoying problem when attempting to record a satellite tv program to this units hard drive.
With the Starchoice HD receiver tuned to the correct channel, as soon as I turn on the Pioneer DVR and switch to HDD mode, the plasma tv signal immediately degrades in quality, with horizontal line interference appearing everywhere.
This unfortunately is how the recording will ultimately look like.
The connections I am using :
DVR to A/V Receiver : HDMI cable
Plasma TV to A/V Receiver : HDMI cable
Plasma TV to Satellite Receiver : DVI cable
Satellite Receiver to Pioneer DVR : S-Video cable and a/v cables
The only connection I don't have is an HDMI from the DVR to the plasma directly.
Is there something I can do to solve this picture interference ? Thanks for any help on this.
