I capture my videos with a Flip Ultra HD. I edit them in Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0. When I render the finished product for upload to the web or to save to my hard drive, the video quality is much worse than when the video was first captured. What settings can I change to fix this problem?

So many ways you could go wrong.

First the flip doesn't produce a standard or consistant format model to model. Post a sample of your original file so we can analyze it.

You probably used a default DV project setting in Vegas right? Then what did you do? How did you export?

Post a sample of your finished export. Best if it matches the original sample above.

Why did you spend so little on your camera and so much on your software?
