  1. Hello,

I rendered a video using sony vegas from my friends wedding.

The edit is perfect and all my audio is set appropriately in sony vegas.

After the video is rendered in mpeg-2 i play the file in windows media player the audio is fine everything matches.

I used Corel DVD Movie Factory 7 and created a dvd, i imported the single file and added chapters to it.

once the dvd is burned and i play it, about midway through the audio slowly loses sync and by the end its way off. Im so frustrated I have been working on this project now for several days. Please help. Thank you.

What format is audio from Vegas. AC3, PCM or what?
If any of those two, I would say that the problem is with Movie Factory. You can get DVD Lab (30 day free trail, no restrictions) and try that.
There are other software, but this one is pretty good.

MP3 is not a standard format for DVD (mpeg2) AC3 is OK.
In this case I would try other software. It may be a compilation problem in Movie factory.
Mpeg file will play, but it has to be broken down to a VOBs and other things attached to it to be DVD compliant, that is why I would think that the Factory has a problem.
Also what is a total bitrate of the audio and video together?
