I emailed Samsung yesterday to ask them to put the source code online and they have.

I can be downloaded at Samsung's open source websites under the AV category;

It would be nice if we could use this to make it so the Blu-ray player has MKV/AVI playback and Pandora/Netflix/Blockbuster, as opposed to now were we have to choose one or the other. This is really above my ability, but maybe someone else is could look into doing this.
