  1. Hi.

I've got a question, how can I remove the audio from the original DVD and add my own new audio?
I wanna keep the menu and all that stuff, and I wanna keep the video as it is, without loosing quality ( I don't wanna render a new video file )
Is there a simple way to do this?

  2. There's a way, but only you can judge how simple it is. Baldrick has a guide for doing this for subtitles, but doing it for audio follows the same procedure. Use his Method 2:

  5. You'll have to explain your problem better than that.

    1. Demux (PGCDemux)
    2. Remux substituting the new audio for the old (Muxman)
    3. Stick the Muxman authored DVD back into the original (VobBlanker)

At which step are you having a problem?

  6. Okay, I have these files.

Then the first thing I should do is to import the VIDEO_TS.IFO file into PgcDemux, right?
When I've done that, it gives me 1 ac3 audio file and 1 vob file, which only contains the menu....
That's where my problem is, how would I get the main movie? so I can put in my own audio?
I don't wanna change anything in the menu, i only wanna change the audio inside the movie and not in the menu.

Here's a picture of my files.

  7. No, you open the VTS_02_0.IFO. As you discovered, the VIDEO_TS.IFO is the menu (and is always a Menu VTS). You want the one for the movie. Just play a VOB if you can't figure out for yourself that the VTS with the largest collection of VOBs must be the one for the movie.
