[Encore CS4] How use max space of DVD

I have one project in AVI with 1GB, and i want put the file without compress by Encore CS4. The DVD is staying the size in 604MB! Ok the Encore make a transcode, but i want use all the space of DVD. How i do this?

You doesn't matter the size of the source, only the length. DVD is MPEg 2 only so its encoding your source according to the bitrate you have set. DVD has a Video bitrate ceiling of 9.8 mb/s so keep this in mind. How long is your video? I'll be willing to bet its around 7 mins

Yes, it's around 7 minutes. I look in project settings and the Video bitrate is 9.8. The image look's regular, i don't know, maybe i watching a lot of 720p videos, and when i saw the mpeg-2, i just don't like what i see hehehe. Thanks.
