    hi all,

    i just got a canopus mpeg pro emr and am having some troubles while capturing video. I am using the software it came with, mediacruise, and get the following error:
    An error report recieved from the MN85572 ucode.

    when this error occurs the capture stops.

    i have: video/dvd combo -> TBC-1000 -> canopus mpeg pro emr -> comp

    any suggestions?!

    Hi
    I have the exact same error message, did you find out what is causing the problem. I have only started getting this error message over the last few weeks. After getting the message I select record and it might work for several days correctly. I have tried using my laptop computer and this gives the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

    I was hoping someone had a good memory, this thread is the only mention of this error that I can find on the web. Although this Canopus unit is several years old, when working ok it gives very good results. Is there a better capture unit to give me mpeg output.
