    I just found this game and have had some fun playing it. The game is playable for free online. The programmer went to great detail to bring Link from Legend of Zelda, Bill R. from Contra, Mega Man, Samus and Simon from Castlevania into the world of Super Mario. Each character is given a range of weapons and upgrades from mushrooms and Fireflowers, like Simon getting the Flaming whip or link getting the Blue Ring. The best part is that the full songs, music and sound effects are used for each character!

    I'll have to check this out this weekend.

    I use to have a link laying around about a great mario flash animation. I can't remember the jist of it but it used all the mario 8bit nes sprites as the animation and it was really good.
