I would like to know if there is a way to split a video up into equal time lengths. I have MPEG Streamclip and so can convert it to most any format, but I can't figure out a way to do it automatically there.Ideally if there was a solution to batch process video files, that would be the best.

I would like to do this as I have a Disney Mix Max for my son. It plays wmv files which I have no trouble converting my original videos and getting onto the player. However, it does not have a good "jump" feature, nor does it remember where you left off. Splitting the wmv files (or their preconversion video files) into small segments (with sequential labeling) will allow a "skip by chapter" type of functionality.

    Thanks,

The standard free Flip4Mac installation should let MPEG Streamclip split the files but you'll have to set the I/O points yourself. There may be another OSX app that will automate the splitting for you.

Do you mean trimming each section and saving the individual files? If so, I can do that in Quicktime Pro too(which I have also), but it is much to cumbersome to do with a 2 hour movie (and many movies). If there are any programs that can automate this, it would be great. It looks like the isysoft, Xiilsoft, etc clones have this functionality, but I loath to use these.
