Subject pretty much says it all. This one's a true newbie question. I'm looking for a reasonably decent means for streaming my pc's desktop (specifically, the goings-on, such as me playing a game) to a friend, whereupon he can view & listen to the live stream with a media player or a browser or, if necessary, a client-side application.
I've given ustream.tv a shot. The unending stream of commercials and breaks in the stream, in addition to the fact that the average framerate is ONE (plus the fact that Flash loses fullscreen if I look at it cross-eyed), has turned me off. There has to be something better. I was more hoping for a client-to-client solution anyway.
Any takers? ;p
