Unable to find ASF signature

I downloaded 10 wmv files of 85MB each from rapidshare with an instruction to merge them into one. I have several joiners, converters and editors including ASF tools but none can work.
The first file will play its allotted 85 MB and then stop - GSpot reports :
Size 85 MB
File type ASF (WMA/WMV)
Mime type : video/x-ms-asf
File incorrectly truncated - original size 834 MB
Video Codec : WMV3 Audio Codec : 0x0161 (WMAx2) both "status" undetermined
The remaining 9 files GSpot reports :
File type : unknown
Mime type : unknown
Rendering failed : Direct Show error 0x80040265 (unknown)
ASF Tools reports:
Invalid Header OBJ I.D Exiting
Re-encode : Can't read source file information
Repair : Unable to find ASF signature
Can any body help ?

THey are probably splitted with something like hjsplit, it can also join them together so try http://hjsplit.en.softonic.com/
