    I'd like to know if anyone tried to copy Gamecube games or at least try to rip them?

    Replying to my own post, but what the heck. I found someone on another forum on another website that could read a Gamecube disc with a DVDRW drive he read it as one file on the disc (?.dat). If you get similar results reply.

    where are you gonna get a Gamecube disk

    They are sold, I can get Gamecube sized DVD-R discs for $15.
