Having issues working with my VHS to DVD home movies. Used Panasonic DVD recorder to make DVDs of my home movies. Bought Corel Video Pro X2 to edit home movies.
Problem lies in getting Home Movies Ripped to a format that Corel accepts!
Would appreciate any help.
Thank You.

Are you able to open and play the DVD from the recorder on your PC? Is it in the regular DVD format, VIDEO_TS folder, VOBs, IFOs, BUPs? Is it finalized? You might try extracting the MPG-2 files from the discs with something like VOB2MPG and seeing if the program will accept that. No quality loss involved.
And welcome to our forums. -
It does play in my computer. I took your advice and tried VOB2MPG after using DVD Decrypter to extract the files.
I was then able to import them into Corel Video Studio and work with them and create a DVD out of it.
Thank you for your help.
Still much to learn, look forward to learning from this site.
