this is a vhs with super 8 footage on it. the attached file has three recordings of it all done with a jvc 9900u. the first clip is raw image with no hardware filters. the next is with video stabilazation. the third is with tbc/dnr. you can see my problem the one with tbc/dnr looks terrible. i would really appreciate someones input. thanks.

The capture had levels issues including clipping.
How are you capturing from Super8?
Also list equipment for "video stabilization" and TBC/DNR.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

the vhs is the only thing i have. it was recorded for a super 8 reel years ago. the reels are gone so i just have to do the best i can with the vhs. im using the internal tbc/dnr in the jvc vcr. its a jvc hr 9900u. the video stabilization is also internal. can not be used in conjunction with tbc with this vcr, one or the other. so im new at this... what is clipping? thanks by the way. trying to learn this stuff and every project seems to be its own learning experience.

Your other option is to just pay somebody to fix this one tape. It may be smarter/cheaper than buying more equipment. Plus somebody else may be able to do a better job.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
