I have a mp4 video clip from FHD camcoder. In the premiere pro CS4 its properties show as 1920x1080 (0.75). I believe 0.75 is the pixel apect ratio. I created a project editing 1920x1080 60i video and dropped the mp4 video clip in the timeline, but in the program window, there are two black bars on each side of the video. The video clip is not 1920x1080 anymore. I guess it's something to do with 0.75 pixel aspect ratio but do not know how to fix the problem.
If I play the video clip with windows media player. It shows as 1920x1080 size.
Any clue with the premiere pro CS4? Any help is appreciated!

Without knowing more about the file it's hard to say exactly. You could try posting the Mediainfo here for us to look at.
However if the issue is as you say and a problem with CS4 not knowing the correct aspect ratio, then if you right click on the source clip in the media browser you can then 'Interpret Footage' Where you can tell CS4 how to deal with the file, including what aspect ratio it should use. This should help you out. -
I may be off track here, but you haven't accidentally left safe areas on the project have you?
