I have a home video clip which is in VOB Format.. I would like to get a small audio clip off of it for my son, what is the easiest way to do this?
I tried audacity, but it was very low pitched and static when I played it back..
Thanks

Look for a program called Total Recorder, very easy to use and good quality. It Started In Texas

I tried total recorder, but for some reason when I play the Clip through Media Play and hit record it says no output audio detected.

I have always had to start the Recorder first, then start what I want recorded. You could start the clip and then hit record. You can always go back in Total Recorder and cut/mark the track. Last edited by V Bot; 19th Mar 2010 at 21:50. It Started In Texas

Total Recorder doesn't support AVI? This is what my clip is in..

If you have the original VOB or AVI why are you bothering with Total Recorder? Just use a demuxing tool to extract the audio.
