Hi. I recorded something off of tv years ago. It's an old tape, and the color keeps changing from a bright, vivid one to a dull one. Are there any v-dub plugins that could help keep the color consistant? Any software titles that will do the same?

    thanks!

This is false copy protection. See https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/189455-How-to-address-anti-copy-%28Macrovision%29-errors

It cannot be fixed in software.

I was thinking maybe you could salvage it by turning it into B & W?

The luma gain is affected, too -- so no, B&W not an option.

Funny that you said it is false copy protection. It was recorded from HBO. Anyway, thanks for the help.
