Hi..I would be grateful for help here..A few days ago I downloaded a music concert DVD rip (avi)...I followed my usual successful practice as I specificly wanted one part of the rip....I used convertXtoDVD and converted the rip into vob files ....they played them with no problems and finding out exactly where the part was I wanted I opened TMPGenc > Files > Mpg tools > Merge and Cut .......loaded the vob file ..no problems and IT HAD audio ...so I marked IN/OUT the section I wanted and saved it to my hard drive..
I then played it and for the first time ever my method failed because there was no audio..since then I have tryed everything I can think of but is beyond my capabilty I have saved the audio as a wav file then processed the original rip with it on the audio but still end up with no audio ...I hope I have explained this adequately ...One point I would like to contue using TMPGenc cause I do music transcribing and find the Mpeg tools invaluable for editing out individual measures so I can inspect ....I have done a capture of what Gspot tells me so hope I have attached this ...Thanks HK

Buy the movie on DVD first. Please don't discuss downloaded dvdrips.
