  1. Look for DVD player that can change from region 1 to all regions

    I look to buy a regular DVD player that sale in US for region 1 and can convert to all regions for sure and price about $50. need some suggestion about what brand and model to fit with budget.

    You also need a player that can convert from PAL format video to America's NTSC format video.
    A simple region change(called a region HACK by most) is only half of the battle.

    In that price range, your best bet would be the Philips 5990. It is easily hacked and will play NTSC and PAL. It usually sells for $50 to $60.

  5. wish I had $1 for every time this old chestnut has come up, do a google search for region free dvd players, samstores sell them as well, and the pioneer 420 model can be hacked region free, most if not all dvd players that are or can be hacked region free do pal to ntsc conversion.

    I have a Grundig player that is hackable/hacked but does not do a true conversion....but I'm in Europe so it doesn't matter much.
