    Hello,
    I'm new to this video converter stuff. Recently, I just downloaded some HD720 .MP4 movies. The files are just around 600Mb to 700Mb. The quality of these movies are super great.

    My question is that I want to convert these HD720 MP4 movies to HD720 .AVI with about the same size, so I can watch them on a stand alone DVD PLAYER WITH DIVX CERTIFIED. Please Help...

    I'd tried some of the HD converter software out there, but the quality is not the same to the original.
    Eventhough, I set the spec (birate, ration, etc) exactly to the original, but the output files are much bigger (1GB and up), and the quality is not so great compare to the original.

    Please Help !! Thank You in advance.

    Your player probably can't play 1280x720 files. Test it by resizing to 640x352

    Xvid4PSP will create some high quality files.
