************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Try XP SP2 compatability. If that fails can you take a look at this thread about installation and Vista/Win 7 issues?
https://forum.videohelp.com/topic324278.html#1776530
(In particular: installation in a folder other than "Program Files" and running "As Administrator")SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

I've Goggled the error and it wants me to use a registry cleaner and wipe it, i guess.

"Are you sure you are running as Administrator? Do you get asked for permission (UAC) when you start the program?" -
Yes, i am, and yes, i get asked for (UAC) permissions, when i start. Still no luck. Tried a dozen more reinstalls, and nothing. What can i do from this point. It sucks that i paid into a product, that works the one moment, and craps out the next. (sorry, just my frustrations creeping out) Is there a problem with SVCD2DVD and Win7? Or is there something else i need to do -ChrissBoy-?
All of my other programs are fine, 25 plus of them, and this is the only one that isn't still working. It's been over a month now. I've tried XP SP2 compatability, and nothing, same old error. Help ME.Momma didn't tell me that! -
Also tried the link https://forum.videohelp.com/topic324278.html#1776530
and no dice. Same crap.Momma didn't tell me that! -
I am using the SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
Could that be an issue. It shouldn't, because it was installed before and worked. Win7 Ultimate.Momma didn't tell me that! -
Sorry i took so long to get back to the help page here; i got sick, and had to study and write so certifications recently. Please help.

That question was to the user who started this thread.... As to your issue:
Error: 0xc000007b is nothing to do with SVCD2DVD it is a Windows error: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
From what i have read it could be AV software or a virus, a bad driver or a hardware issue..... Anyway:
0x0000007B: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
Windows lost access to the system partition or boot volume during the startup
process. Typical causes: Installing incorrect device drivers when installing or
upgrading storage adapter hardware, or a virus.

Wel,l thank you for your quick reply; i will check into the AV or virus theory. As i stated before I have 24 other programs that are running perfect on my system; and this IS thONLY one that won't, and it happens tobe one of my favorites. I will keep you updated on my findings, if and when i get this up and running again. cheers

Well i did a scan and there was some type of trojan on the computer (used "K") to scan and remove. It couldn't do anything for me. So i did a system restore, and it worked again, for two days, intil it failed again and i got that crappy pop up "Unable to start blah blah..." My system restore was from a claen copy point, and no bugs, i didn't even have time to start applying applications back on to the comp, before it crashed again. i am totally stumped. -As soon as i restored, i did a Vscan and had a clean bill of health, then i ran the SVCD program and it worked nicely. Then installed M$ Security Essentials, and it worked great, No problems, and then (SVCD2dvd) it ran for a day like that before it went buggy again. there has to be something wrong with the SVCD2DVD compatability with Win7; all of my programs worked fine in XP, for years, and now that i install Win7, there is an issue. This is the only program that doesn't work, for me in Win7, out of 26. Rescanned with Vscan and it's clean. Can somebody give me a clue on what can be the problem? thanks

Also did the turn off and on; also the install into the C: ; and have reinstalled the app 4 times and still nothing. My copy of Win7 is fine; the image file is fine. No other conflicts with other applications.
