When burning DVDs using Nero 7, the processes terminates at 93% done. The log from the last crash is listed at the end of this e-mail. I'm connecting to a HP Pavilion DV6000 (which until recently was burning DVDs with no problems--hence, the external burner), Vista Home Premium SP2, 2GB RAM, 140GB hard drive. I'm planning to purchase a desktop in the near future for DVD burning sometime in the near future. I'm just not quite ready yet.
Thanks for any help you can give.

CindyLuB8,
The first thing that jumps out at me is that you were trying to burn over usb at 20x, but since the drive says it was a media error, let's go with that as the primary reason for the burn failure.
Since you probably have more of those blanks to work with, you could try slowing the burn down...say, to 8x (just to rule out other problems). However, if you take a look at this page, you'll see that some people can burn that media...and some can't. If you can't get a good burn at 8x, then the odds are your system just isn't going to work with that media. If that's case, using Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden disks would be the most likely solution to your problem.
I see this was your first post here, so welcome to VideoHelp. -
CindyLuB8 - you might also edit your original post to remove what might be a software serial key (Windows' key?), underneath the "Hewlett-Packard" line. Even if it's incomplete (is it?), it's still better just to remove all of it.
