mkv to wtv with hardsubs for the xbox

I'm using avisynth/megui to hardsub mkv files that I will mux into wtv to watch then in the Xbox 360 with good results so far, but would like to improve quality even more.

I used the x264: Xbox Insane profile in megui, and would like to know if 2-pass or other customized options could make a difference.

I had a quick look at MeGUI's "Insane" Xbox 360 x264 profile, and found a couple of things that may increase quality a little, depending on the source material.

Adaptive B-Frames can be set to "2-Optimal" (not too sure about this one)
M.E. Algorithm can be set to "Multi Hex".
Subpixel Refinement can be set to 09.
Set Trellis to 2 or at least 1.

This may increase quality, at the price of a much slower encode.
