I have windows 7 on my laptop. I used to previously use pinnacle to transfer the movies from camcorder to laptop using the DVC100 cable. But now that I have windows 7 it doesnt work. The program says video device not detected. Whats going on, why wont it work

DVC100 (digital Video Creator) is a fairly outdate hardware device from Pinnacle Systems.
The last driver released for it was in March 2003 for the following operating systems: Win98SE, Win2000, and WinMe)

Perhaps is time to consider new hardware fully compatible with windows 7 or vista, such as the Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR
