DVD,MKV,AVi cutters

Folks i'm confused i wanna know what do pros use to cut their dvd clippings and post on their forums or companies producing compilations on dvd discs. Can we get the software?. Or any easy solution to cut VOB,MKV and AVi files with precision and speed without loss in picture quality.
I tried most of the tools on the net but they do not live up to the promise.Other than virtualdub etc. Any good cutters available on the net commercial also will do. How about any new version on Jiao Cutter.

Pros don't clip from dvd,mkv or avi. They make clip from HD sources in uncompressed format.

We other normal users use simple editors to cut like avidemux, it works with vob,mkv,avi and no reconversion. Just set start and stop and save a new mpg/vob or mkv or avi.
