    Everytime I open a new tab in IE 8, this windows installer pops up and disappears after 1 second. Any idea how to disable it?

    I don't know the root cause, apparently some kind of IE8 malfunction, but you might be able to block it with your firewall.

    I have compatiblility mode ON too, so not sure if it is some setting in IE8 ?

    when I try to run the windows cleanup, it gives me an error indicating the permission is denied. I only have one user on this computer.....do I have to go into admin mode? If so, I'm not sure what to do exactly.
