  1. I was wondering if someone can help me, ive looked all over the web and have found no methods to multi-region this player including this website, ive tried using other samsung bd player methods, but they all involve opening and closing the tray and this play has a slot delivery system.

Does anyone know a way to hack the samsung ht-c9950w?

MOST Samsung players sold in the world CANNOT ever be hacked. Period. Sony is even worse. Realistically the odds are that you will never find a hack. However, if and only if you live in Australia or New Zealand, you may be able to contact the Samsung support office in your country and get them to unlock the player for DVD playback only, but it may require sending them the player. If you live anywhere else, you'll probably never get it unlocked.

A slot for a BluRay player? Ai yi yi... a new low for Samsung. There are good reasons why no other manufacturer has used this before.

That was exactly why I mentioned that. Contact Samsung's Aussie customer support office as getting them to do this is likely your only course of action. Be glad that you and the Kiwis have laws that allow unlocked DVD players. Those of us in the rest of the world have no such laws and the USA things are incredibly tied down where it's becoming quite difficult to just find unlockable DVD players. Even Philips, who just a few years ago made almost nothing for sale anywhere that couldn't be unlocked, now makes DVD players for North America that can't be unlocked (although a few of their models still can be unlocked here).
