Hi i have been using ripbot to convert my extensive Blu-Ray collection, but keep experiencing macro blocking in dark scenes, lasting for a second, probably happening twice in a whole film but still enough to bug me. Im running the latest build of Ripbot and all the settings are defult apart from CRF 16 hoping this would clear up the problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem, what would be the solution. Are there any custom profile setting that can loose this blocking i heard B-Frames can cause this but i also tried lowering the setting to 2 with no joy. The rest of the conversion is really impressive its just so dissapointing having this blocking issue.
Thanks in advance.![]()
