Newby...importing dvd titles to pinnacle 12

I am using Pinnacle 12 with all the updates included.I'am trying to import the last title from a burned dvd copy that I made from my video camera.I used a dvd recorder to burn from my Sony dig 8 to disc.It will import all titles except the last one(it says "importing" but just hangs).This seems to be the problem with all my burned dvds.How can I retreive the last titles on the discs to import to Pinnacle 12 on my computer?
Chapters on the disc seem to refelct the number of titles on the disc.

If it's a standard dvd you can try vob2mpg and then import the mpg in pinnacle.

Thanks Baldrick,I am downloading it now and will give it a try.But it would be nice to know what the problem is,not being able to import the last title.
