    Hi. I am wondering if anyone knows how to hack a toshiba sd490 eke. I tried the hack for an sd490 but I can't even find a menu that permits entering of any codes at all. Grateful for any suggestions.

    Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately most DVD players available today can't be hacked. Maybe you will be lucky and someone will post a hack that works for you, but it could also be that your model is slightly different from the sd490 and that's why the hack doesn't work. Manufacturers make changes all the time that break hacks that worked in the past.
