Hi,
I have a VCD which has stereo audio, but the left and right channels are playing a different stream. Unfortunately, my player doesn't have an option to listen only to a single channel. So, how can I take the audio off the vcd, then extract just the one channel of audio and then multiplex it back together?
So far, I have tried this method: I used VCDGear to change the dat file from the VCD to and Mpg file. Then I used Virtual Dub and extracted the audio from the mpg file and I got the left and right channels separately. (However, I noticed that this audio file came up 2 seconds short, will this have any effect?)
Next step would be to put the new audio track into the mpg file. First, I would have to demultiplex the mpg file to get just the video and then multiplex the video (no audio) with the new audio track. Sounds easy doesn't it?
Well... I can't do it!! Can someone point me in the right direction please? Any help appreciated. Thanks
