  1. Has anyone been able to successfully play VC-1 encoded AVCHD discs on a Blu-ray player other than the PS3?

My Panasonic BD-80 doesn't seem able to.

My JVC XV-BP1 can play AVCHD disk (DVD+RW) encoded with VC-1.

    AVCHD is AVCHD

    DVD RW is DVD RW

Some players support AVCHD on DVD RW

VC-1 on DVD RW is never AVCHD.
