My hybrid HP has had problems with wi-fi connections if it sleeps too long. Several re formats, Vista & 7, same problems.
If it sleeps too long, it wont recognize a Wi-Fi presence. It states there is limited access(good bars however) for my named network. A reboot fixes things.
Dual band ,Linksys router. Pass protected, mac filtered.
