  1. Hi,

I have been a user of Tunebite to convert my ITunes videos for a few years now, and every time I upgrade, I end up having more problems. The latest version still has conflicts with my NVidia graphics card and I was also receiving errors with the Realtek HD sound driver for high speed dubbing. The video ends up being cut off in the middle as well.

I hardly ever use Tunebite because of these issues and I spent endless hours trying to find answers at their website. Someone in the Tunebite forum mentioned a program called SoundTaxi, so I decided to try it. What a huge difference! It worked right away and the picture is very clear. Soundtaxi also processes the video much faster. It really felt good not having to tweak many different settings to get the picture and sound to work correctly. There's also an add-in for your browser to get videos off of YouTube.

I was so impressed, I purchased SoundTaxi right away, and now I am going to try one of my other video programs to try a conversion to DVD.

I just thought I would let you know that this program is really worth it.
    Thanks,
    Weavejenn

  2. Hey, I'm kinda new here and I was wondering if u could tell me if u tried the latest version of tunebite? I'm pretty much sure that its much improved and has many other features than the last ones. I'm thinking to buy it, I got the freeware version but this one doesn't support all the features of the full version. If the full version works just like its freeware, I'll definitely get it cause I really like it...

  3. Hi Lowerboy,

I think the Tunebite demo works the same as the full version. You need to be careful if you update your video drivers because that may cause a problem. The latest version I used was 7 or 8 (platinum) and the video display would come out as if you were holding a video camera with your hand over half of the lens. It would also speed up so the sound and video were out of sync.

I suggest to go to Tunebite's forums, there you will see a lot of customers have posted about various issues (at which time my issue was posted, but no patch had been released yet). This is why I switched over to SoundTaxi. SoundTaxi works the same as Tunebite, and I think both programs (like so many others) have a problem with NVidia based drivers. I did end up running into similar problems with a later version of SoundTaxi.

    I hope this is helpful.
    Good luck!

  4. Hi, thanks for ur suggestion, indeed the demo version has the same features as the full version, but I was talking about the free version (this is different from the demo which hasn't the same features as the demo). Anyway, I took the risk and bought tunebite platinum, it's quite interesting and I really like the fact that it can record movies. For me is quite well, at least until now, I've downloaded some movies so I'll play them on my dvd player. I have to admit that in the beginning I was a little unsure, especially when I saw that there are a few costumers which aren't so pleased of this soft, but I was thinking that I'll have my money back if it doesn't work. But, honestly, it worked well, of course this means that ur pc is quite good....Thumbs up for this app

I think it would be a lot easier if you two just stand up and talk to each other over the cubicle wall.
