    Simple DVD with one menu (chapter listing). Should I use widescreen format or 4:3? Or the menu is always 4:3?

    I have seen them both ways, even retail dvd's.

    I believe you can put more chapter links on a 4:3 menu than you can a 16:9, something about the dvd spec i believe, it's been a while since i messed with it so i may not have that exactly correct.

    But personally i always make widescreen menus for widescreen vids.
